What does Mr. Hall mean when he says “all the things man disovers must be brought to the altar of God.”?

  • Guillermo said:

I guess he means that we should credit God for the things we discover and not ourselves. Also we should use these discoveries for the purpose of serving and benefit the humanity instead of selfish purposes

“A life well lived, leaves behind a more beautiful place. A more colorful place, enriched with life. And everywhere you walk is blessed with your presence, not damned by it. And that when this life is over, we take this Mind that we have cultivated, and we take and pour it into the Great Cauldron of God, to the Great Vessel of Wine. And therein, becomes what is known as, the Great Mind of God. And we have contgributed to it. And what we contribute to, we have access to, in all future lives.”

This fits the piece of the puzzle in, from other sources. The Wiccans statement of emptying ourselves into “The Great Cauldron” after our death. And also with Edgar Cayce’s “Akashic Record, which is apparently, The Great Mind,” aka God.

im pretty sure the sun fading or “dying” is considered it being at the altar of God before it is born again… therefore figuratively as we grow bright with knowledge like the sun in summer so do we take our knowledge to the altar of God with our deathjust as the sun does

much of what he talks about is figurative… the sun is a figure of us an we face the same trials as the sun

It’s good to have a beacon such as Mr. Hall. I thought, “what a treasure”, when I turned over the stone that revealed his work to me. Why isn’t his name a ‘household word’? I must wonder if he was aware of the info found at JamesArthur.net.

    Live well, be free

The “altar” as I have imaged it in the Holy Bible and in other sacred books to me is interpreted as the heart. The heart is the place where the songs originate and where the beautiful springs forth!!!!!

You might come to the first great realization that we human beings are nothing but “houses” with the lights (ie living souls) in operation. One day, that light that enlivens your house will be blown out…….

    Enjoy the Ride.

I have a M. Div from Duke University and I also studied history and world religions: Manly P. Hall is a great culmination of my educational pursuits.

Also read Plato’s Allegory of the Cave…..

What Manly P. Hall explains quite admirably is certainly not something that is a spiritual revelation to me. Nevertheless, his treatise is very much in line with my own extraordinary psychically acquired mystical initiation and resultant understanding of what human consciousness and the universe is all about. And in this respect, just how I became illumined in 1980 was an out of the blue occult wonder in itself. It is such a shame that society of all continents can’t hear this with their single eye. Maybe the Internet can help dispense this knowledge. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints practices this on a daily basis and is a place you will want to check out if you are serious about the perfecting of your being.
