I found a little publication by the PRS, "The White Bird of Tao" by Manly P. Hall copyrighted 1964. This is MPH's short commentary on the "Tao Te Ching" of Lao Zu, the classic of the Tao and of Taoism. I am no mystic but love Tao and Tai Chi and Hall's is the best evocation of the meaning of Lao Zu that I have been lucky enough to come across. I will draw the paths of Monkey Mountain yellow from now on.

There is a piece of misinformation that is all over the web, including on this site, that Manly Hall was not initiated into Freemasonry. That is simply not true. On November 22, 1954 Manly Palmer Hall was "raised" in Jewell Lodge No. 374 in San Francisco, and a year later he joined the San Francisco Scottish Rite Bodies. Please correct this, for the record. Thank you, PRS Librarian.

I have a question. I have in my possesion a large hardback book with old bindings by Manly P Hall. It is a Fifth Edition number 557 out of 800. It is the Encyclopedic Outline of Masonic, Hermetic, Qabbapistic and Rosicrucian Symbolical Phiolosphy.Printed in 1929. It also has a hard case it slides into. Would anyone know the value of this book?
