Passing The Lamp – The Life of Manly P. Hall
Running time 60 minutes
This video composition honors the unique accomplishments of a larger-than-life Renaissance man of the 20th century. In it the life and work of Manly P. Hall, beginning with his earliest years, are traced. After gaining eminence as a lecturer in the 1930’s, Mr. Hall dreamed of creating a place where persons of all beliefs could seek a better understanding of life’s plan. In 1934 he founded the Philosophical Research Society, its lecture hall, and library, built to house 20,000 items of wisdom literature and philosophy. The video concludes with a presentation by Mr. Hall to the Scottish Rite Masons on the deeper principles of freemasonry and the great heritage they must rededicate themselves to, sharing with future generations in the next millennium.
